On the western slope of Mount Washington, golden grasses move like a slow tide between grey rocks, catching the last warmth of the day. Far beyond, the mountainsides burn with a faint red, like embers under a wide sky. If you look closely, the cog railway threads through the distance—a yellow train and red wagon moving slowly up the mountain, almost lost in the landscape. This image holds that quiet, golden moment where the White Mountains feel both wild and enduring.
