In Snow Ghost, a relentless whiteout on Presque Isle softens for a fleeting breath, revealing a vision where a tree stands sharply defined in the foreground, rooted against the storm’s embrace. Beyond, a chorus of trees emerges faintly through the swirling snow, their forms like phantoms teasing the edge of perception—only to vanish moments later, swallowed by the white void as if they’d never been. This photograph captures the haunting, ephemeral essence of Lake Erie’s shoreline, where the blizzard’s dance lends a ghostly grace to a Pennsylvania winter’s tale.
